A conceptual study for the redesign of Toblach’s central square, focusing on circulation, spatial reorganization, and the creation of new residential and civic structures.
This conceptual urban study proposes the partial demolition of existing structures at Toblach’s village square—located directly beside the church—and a comprehensive redesign of the area. The project includes the development of new residential units and public buildings, while reimagining the central space to better serve the community.
A key focus of the study is the reorganization of pedestrian routes and the creation of a more defined village center, oriented toward the church. The overall goal is to revitalize the square, enhance its cultural significance, and improve its functionality as a social and architectural focal point of the village.
