In the center of Innichen, just behind the façade of a historic building on the village square, a forgotten courtyard has been transformed into a “secret garden”—an unexpected sanctuary for guests of Hotel Post. Enclosed and protected, the space now serves as a serene refuge from the lively rhythm of the tourist town, inviting visitors to slow down and disconnect.
Surrounded by lush, fragrant vegetation, the garden is both whimsical and intimate. At its center, an oversized chandelier is held aloft by a surreal giraffe sculpture—an artistic gesture that adds lightness and wonder. Gentle music, dappled light, and curated planting compositions create a multisensory experience, encouraging moments of quiet retreat and shared discovery.
Beyond the garden, the hotel’s indoor relaxation area has been carefully reimagined. Dark wooden furnishings, rich petrol-blue walls and fabrics, and an enhanced lighting concept now define a calming interior environment. Zenithal light, soft shadows, and natural textures contribute to a refined and deeply restful ambiance around the pool.
Together, these interventions extend the hotel’s architectural identity—combining traditional Alpine hospitality with imaginative, immersive design. They offer guests not just comfort, but an emotional connection to place.
Whether encountered by chance or sought out deliberately, the Secret Garden becomes more than a space—it becomes an experience. And perhaps, as the name suggests, it’s one best kept between those who discover it.
