The Horeca Office project reimagines a historic interior as a dynamic and expressive workplace, tailored to the energy and identity of a young, creative agency. The intervention is bold, unapologetically contemporary, and rich in contrasts—merging playfulness with precision, comfort with sculptural clarity.
At the heart of the layout is a glossy, central cube that functions as both a lounge and an architectural divider. This element defines circulation, offers gathering space, and becomes a visual landmark within the open-plan setting. Around it, the design unfolds through a palette of unexpected materials and tones.
A pink faux-fur sofa and soft area rugs bring tactile warmth, while polished surfaces and saturated colors ground the space in a confident, contemporary mood. The standout pink bow window, wrapped in textured fabric, becomes a sensory retreat, softening the geometry and offering an inviting, cocoon-like corner for rest or reflection.
While most areas embrace a bold, feminine aesthetic, the executive office introduces a shift in atmosphere. Here, muted tones, refined textures, and subtle lighting create a more grounded, focused environment—still elegant, but more restrained.
The Horeca office is not a conventional workspace, it’s a statement. It plays with contrasts: new and old, glossy and soft, vibrant and calm. The result is a working environment that mirrors the agency’s personality—young, daring, and forward-thinking—while respecting the character of its historic shell. A place where design is not just functional, but emotional.
