The project entails the renovation and expansion of a ski bar located on the slopes of Cortina d’Ampezzo. It involves demolishing the existing small structure and constructing a new building oriented orthogonally to the original footprint. By aligning the roof ridge with the natural slope of the terrain, the design optimizes the permitted building volume and introduces generous terraces for outdoor service—significantly enhancing the bar’s capacity. Reflecting the owners’ background in the fashion industry, the interior features a strikingly long bar counter conceived as a runway, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces both visually and functionally. All technical and service areas are discreetly housed in the underground level, allowing the main floor to remain open, clean, and inviting.
