The design involves the renovation and expansion of an existing ski bar on the slopes of Cortina d’Ampezzo. The proposal includes demolishing the small existing structure and constructing a new building positioned at a right angle to the original. By orienting the roof ridge to follow the natural slope of the terrain, the new layout makes better use of the permitted building volume and allows for the creation of terraces for outdoor service—ultimately increasing the bar’s capacity.

Inspired by the owners’ background in the fashion industry, a long bar counter has been designed to function like a runway, connecting the interior and exterior spaces in a striking way. All necessary technical facilities are discreetly located in the underground level.
