Hotel Bellevue Hall

Hotel Bellevue Hall is a modern farmhouse-inspired retreat in Niederdorf, combining rural symmetry with refined interiors, anchored by a shared stone hearth and a forest-inspired lounge renovation.

Hotel Bellevue Hall presents a classical and symmetrical reinterpretation of the Alpine farmhouse typology. Positioned above the spa park of Niederdorf, the ensemble is composed of two mirrored volumes, residence and stable, united by a central niche that houses an open stone fireplace. This shared element is both spatial anchor and atmospheric core, echoed again in the interior of the main house, establishing continuity between architecture, function, and memory.

The project blends gracefully into the landscape, with traditional forms elevated by modern clarity and material restraint. Natural stone, timber, and a soft color palette ensure the building feels embedded in its alpine setting, rural in spirit, yet architecturally precise.

In 2018, the southern wing of the hotel was transformed to enhance light and atmosphere in the restaurant and bar areas. The interior design draws inspiration from the surrounding park landscape and the hotel’s own identity. A sculptural timber ceiling evokes the sensation of sitting beneath a canopy of trees, while custom brass lighting in leaf shapes adds warmth and refinement. The centerpiece of the lounge is a curated gin display, where each bottle is presented as an object of design.

Together, these interventions embody a quiet elegance, respectful of tradition, yet confidently contemporary. Hotel Bellevue Hall offers guests more than comfort: it invites them into a carefully composed world where Alpine heritage meets spatial storytelling, and every element, from architecture to lighting, is considered with intention.
