The winning design of a private competition, this project involves the construction of two chalets nestled in the scenic alpine setting of Valdaora. Two interconnected buildings form the overall structure, with a gabled façade acting as a base frame, articulated through a series of cutouts and openings.
Despite their large glass façades, the distinct orientations of the two chalets ensure both privacy and carefully framed views. Additionally, the thoughtful interplay of materials—drawing inspiration from traditional alpine shelters—visually separates the upper and lower levels, enhancing both form and function.
